Job Summary
As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing Team Members in the absence of higher management, coaching and training them on restaurant policies, and ensuring compliance with food safety and cleanliness standards. You will open and close the restaurant, create exceptional guest experiences, and contribute to achieving cost and profit goals. Required qualifications include supervisory experience in a restaurant setting, strong communication skills, customer service abilities, and a ServSafe Certificate.
Required Qualifications
- Must be an EPL Crew Member certified on all EPL SPECS positions or have 1 or more years of restaurant supervisory experience
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills preferred; ability to communicate with external customers required
- Basic math, computer skills, and customer service skills required
- Must have a ServSafe Certificate at the time of hire or obtain a ServSafe Certificate, where applicable
