Job Summary
As a Shift Leader at El Pollo Loco, you will oversee Team Members in the absence of the General Manager or Assistant Manager, coaching, directing, and training them on policies and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety, security, quality, and cleanliness standards. Responsibilities also include opening and/or closing the restaurant and creating superior guest experiences while achieving cost and profit goals. Candidates are required to have a High School diploma or equivalent and must hold a ServSafe Certificate at hire.
Required Qualifications
- Must be an EPL Crew Member certified on all EPL SPECS positions or have 1 or more years of restaurant supervisory experience
- Must pass the EPL Food Safety Audit (FSA) class upon hire
- Must have a ServSafe Certificate at the time of hire or obtain a ServSafe Certificate where applicable

- Ability to speak efficiently with external customers
- Basic math and computer skills
- Customer service skills
Additional Requirements
- A Consumer Report may be procured for employment purposes
