EL/PL Solicitor

Job Summary
Manage a mixed caseload of EL/PL predominantly multi-track cases, typically valued between £25k - £100k, by assessing liability and quantum while devising strategies to resolve claims with the best possible outcome. Liaise with clients and insurers to build relationships, draft pleadings including defences and witness evidence, and progress files from receipt to closure using the firm's Case Management System. Attend trials, settlement conferences, and other court appearances as required, while negotiating via telephone and preparing succinct reports. Achieve targets for chargeable hours, WIP, and client MI collection while maintaining high attention to detail and adhering to firm values.
Required Qualifications
- EL/PL multi track file handling experience
- Good IT skills
- Prior knowledge, skills and experience
