Job Summary
Clean all auditoriums, lobbies, hallways, and restrooms prior to opening, ensuring every area is properly stocked and free of damage. Direct janitorial staff to complete tasks and deliver standards while managing inventory of cleaning supplies and paper products. Walk the facility with management to review performance and implement strategies for maintaining cleanliness. Secure doors, arm alarm systems, and report any found items or facility issues immediately. Maintain building security and adhere to all safety and emergency procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- Interface effectively with co-workers, and exhibit sensitivity to the feelings of others
- Effectively communicate in both oral and written form with management staff
- Listen effectively, respond clearly and directly, and ability to explain information to others
- Identify problems, gather relevant data, and note possible causes of problems
- Evaluate relevant information, recognize alternatives, reach conclusions based on evidence, and implement solutions
- Take action beyond what is necessarily called for, and perform tasks with a minimal amount of supervision
- Perform under pressure and/or opposition
- Have knowledge of all safety and emergency procedures
- Required to read and understand training materials that will cover subjects such as sexual harassment and discrimination
- Occasionally required to lift up to 60 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Prior janitorial experience preferred
