Job Summary
Support students with special needs in K-12 school settings by implementing IEPs and BIPs, providing one-on-one instructional support, applying ABA methodologies to target behavior goals, and responding to crisis situations using Pro-ACT or CPI techniques. Will monitor and supervise students during class, breaks, meals, and transportation; record daily data on behavior, skills progression, and learning objectives; and communicate progress to teachers and supervisors. Collaborative, patient, and reliable team player with strong communication skills and a commitment to confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience with students in school or treatment settings
- DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance, as applicable per state
- Strong communication skills and reliability
- Must be at least 18 years of age
