Job Summary
Support students with special needs in K-12 school settings by implementing IEPs and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), providing one-on-one instructional support, and applying ABA methodologies to reach targeted goals. Respond to crisis situations using Pro-ACT or CPI intervention techniques, monitor and supervise students during class, breaks, meals, and transportation, record daily data on behavior and learning progress, and communicate with teachers and supervisors about student progress. Requires a high school diploma or GED and relevant school/treatment experience; may involve DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance. The role is full-time in El Dorado Hills/Placerville, CA during school hours with benefits and professional development opportunities; preferred BA III level may require a Bachelor's degree in a related field and certifications (Pro-ACT, CPI, CPR).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working with students in school or treatment settings
- DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance, as applicable per state
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Bachelor's degree in related field (preferred for BA III level)
