Job Summary
Assistant Manager supports daily restaurant operations and acts as person in charge when the General Manager isn’t present. Responsibilities include hiring/onboarding/training and developing team members, coaching at shift level, maintaining customer service quality, enforcing food safety/compliance standards, managing inventory and labor costs, opening/closing procedures, and ensuring efficient, safe operations. Requires leadership, customer service focus, ability to manage staff, familiarity with POS systems and cash handling, ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain), and flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays. The role emphasizes supporting financial performance, maintaining a positive work environment, and upholding company values (Integrity, Loyalty, Winning, Service, Teamwork).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ServSafe certification required (or must obtain within required timeframe)
- Minimum 1-2 years of restaurant or retail supervisory experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
