Job Summary
Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring shifts run efficiently and safely; assists in hiring, onboarding, training, motivating, and developing team members; conducts shift-level coaching and performance feedback; ensures adherence to food safety standards and company procedures; monitors service times and customer issues; helps manage inventory, food and labor costs, and financial reporting; acts as person in charge when the General Manager is not present, and leads in maintaining a positive, professional, and respectful work environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- ServSafe certification required (or must obtain within required timeframe)
- Minimum 1–2 years of restaurant or retail supervisory experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, smart safe operation, and basic computer skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work at nearby locations as needed
