Job Summary
Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring shifts run efficiently and safely, assisting in hiring, onboarding, training, motivating, and developing team members, upholding customer service quality, enforcing food safety and compliance standards, managing inventory and costs, and acting as the person in charge when the General Manager is not present. The role requires leadership, coaching, scheduling, problem-solving, and effective communication to achieve financial and operational targets while maintaining a positive work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of restaurant or retail supervisory experience required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
- ServSafe certification required (or must obtain within required timeframe).
