Job Summary
Leading global inventory governance for Novartis' Small Molecules platform; oversee monthly inventory cycles with global/local stakeholders; prepare consolidated Latest Outlooks showing trends, risks and opportunities; collaborate with end-to-end planning and Global Product Leads to align projections; perform periodic analyses with data tools to monitor inventory performance; assess impact of supply chain planning changes on short- and long-term inventory; define and track KPIs and targets; run annual target setting and cyclical performance reviews; conduct root cause analysis for deviations; role emphasizes data-driven decision support, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous process improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Analytics, Engineering, Pharmacy or a related field
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and generate insights
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and tools such as Power BI, Qlik Sense or Alteryx
- Experience collaborating across functions in a global, matrix environment
- Structured problem-solving approach, including root cause analysis
- Approximately 2–3 years of experience in supply chain, analytics, pharmaceutical or manufacturing environments
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
