EKG Technician

Job Summary
Provide EKG services to nursing homes and home care facilities, performing EKGs and transmitting results for interpretation. The technician will self-dispatch to cases, maintain required documentation, communicate effectively with peers and clients, and ensure the care and maintenance of equipment. Responsibilities include responding promptly to dispatch pages, driving to client locations, training other technologists, and adhering to health and safety protocols. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or relevant associate degree, appropriate certifications, and have a medical background, with a focus on interpersonal communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant associate degree in applicable trade if required by State
- National ECG/EKG Certification if required by State
- Valid driver’s license

- Knowledge of applicable region’s geography and travel routes
- Pleasant phone manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Medical background preferable, with some knowledge of EKG testing procedures
