Job Summary
Perform venipuncture, EKGs, and related patient exams according to established standards. Conduct lab safety audits, manage inventory of general supplies, and maintain lab records and files. Train new personnel as needed. This role involves occasional travel to other clinic locations with mileage reimbursement. Schedule includes varied hours Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 5:30pm, with occasional Saturdays from 8:00am to 12:00pm. Candidates must hold a high school diploma, completed phlebotomy and EKG courses, and CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent
- Completion of phlebotomy and EKG course (Can be substituted by one year's experience)
- CPR
- Hearing within, or correctable to, normal range
- Vision correctable to 20/20
- Manual dexterity for the operation of office equipment
- Working irregular hours
