EKG Technician - Per Diem Wknds - Cardiology

Job Summary
Perform electrocardiograms, Holter monitoring, and stress tests as part of the Diagnostic Cardiology Team. Conduct cardiac monitoring for inpatients and outpatients of all ages per established standards and policies. Requires a High School diploma, EKG technician experience, and current BCLS certification; strong interpersonal and computer skills; ability to learn ECG recording fundamentals and non-invasive cardiology testing; per diem, weekend schedule in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate
- Previous EKG technician experience
- Current BCLS
- Technical aptitude, ability to learn fundamentals of ECG recording, medical terminology and other non-invasive cardiology testing
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good computer knowledge base
