Job Summary
Administer electrocardiograms and apply Holter monitors for inpatients and outpatients; edit and transcribe all EKG and Holter/echocardiogram reports; assist RNs with stress and nuclear testing; act as preceptor in training new staff; schedule cardiology testing; input medical data for billing; generate and prepare unedited EKG reports for cardiologist interpretation; maintain and clean equipment; transport patients to testing; perform related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Vocational/technical training and a minimum of six months job-related experience or equivalent is required.
