Job Summary
Perform EKG diagnostic testing by preparing patients, placing leads, operating EKG equipment, and obtaining clear tracings in accordance with protocols. Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety. Maintain and troubleshoot EKG equipment; document tests and transmit results to clinical staff. Assist with patient care tasks and cross-trained duties; follow infection-control and privacy standards to support safe cardiac diagnostic services in hospital/inpatient and outpatient settings.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (CPR) certification within 30 days of hire
