Job Summary
The Cardiovascular Non-Invasive Technician I performs advanced non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic procedures, including EKGs and stress tests. Operates specialized non-invasive equipment, assists in patient preparation, and monitors vital signs to ensure safety. Documents results in the EMR for physician review, analyzes test data for preliminary findings, and collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams to optimize diagnostic testing. Maintains equipment calibration, adheres to radiation safety and infection control protocols with PPE, participates in quality improvement initiatives, and ensures reliable attendance. Requires an Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Technology and 0-1 years of related experience; Basic Life Support certification within 90 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program required
- 0-1 years of experience in cardiovascular or diagnostic service in an acute care hospital setting required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support obtained within 90 days of hire required
