Job Summary
EIT Automation Engineer in a materials-rotation program at Jabil. Roles include Inventory Analyst, Planner/Buyer I, and Production Planner (each in 6-12 month rotations). Responsibilities cover monitoring material transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies, reducing downtime, conducting cycle counts, and supporting MRP/MPS execution, supplier performance, and data integrity. Requires a recent college degree (bachelor’s or master’s) with coursework in Supply Chain/Logistics; professional certifications (APICS/NAPM) preferred. Technical skills preferred include image processing tools (Visionmaster, Visionpro, halcom, OpenEvision), PLC concepts and programming, and programming languages C/C++, Python, C#. Strong communication and teamwork, problem-solving, and English proficiency are desired.
Required Qualifications
- Recent college graduate/Bachelors degree required
- Coursework in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred
- A certification by related professional organizations (such as APICS and NAPM) is preferred
