Job Summary
Early Intervention Specialist needed to work with infants and toddlers (0-5) with or at risk of developmental disabilities in San Bernardino County High Desert areas (Hesperia, Phelan, Victorville, Apple Valley, Adelanto and surrounding locales). Roles may be part-time or full-time with a caseload that blends in-home visits and virtual sessions as needed. Responsibilities include implementing personalized family-focused treatment programs using a Routines-Based Parent Coaching Model, traveling to client homes within a 30-mile radius, and collaborating with families to support developmental milestones. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, at least 1 year of experience with young children, and willingness to travel. Bilingual abilities (Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin) are desired. Must maintain license/insurance and CPR; TB screening required. Competitive hourly pay between $20-$29, plus comprehensive benefits (401K with company match, paid sick time, travel/mileage allowance, laptop, cell phone stipend, paid training, and ongoing supervision). Flexible schedule available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Child Development, Psychology, or related field
- Solid knowledge of infant/toddler development
- Minimum 1 year experience working with children 0-5 years
- Experience with Children with Special Needs preferred
- Ability to speak and read Spanish, Cantonese, or Mandarin desired
- Hold a valid Driver's License
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to home-based sites within 30 mile radius
- Maintain current Vehicle Insurance & Registration
- CPR Certification (Infant, Child & Adult)
- Current TB test
