Job Summary
Senior Manager, EHSS Tech Program and Project Management leads technical programs and enterprise application support operations, ensuring alignment with business priorities and delivery of IT solutions. Responsible for scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk; acts as escalation point for non-routine problems; guides program strategy, monitoring, and reporting against budgets and timelines. Provides hands-on technical leadership across Databricks, SQL, ETL, and data visualization tools (PowerBI), coordinates release activities with global platform teams via ServiceNow, contributes to solution design decisions including technology selection and build-vs-buy assessments, and mentors Agile teams of developers, business analysts, and testers. Requires a Master’s degree and 7+ years of leadership experience in enterprise applications, with strong collaboration with business-area leaders and experience in SaaS/cloud environments, SAFe/Kanban, and topics spanning ETL, Python, SQL, and analytics. The role emphasizes autonomous consultation with management, development of innovative solutions, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- 7+ years of experience managing large teams in enterprise application support operations
- Experience with SaaS platforms, cloud platforms like AWS / GCP, ERP and other transactional systems
- Experience leading Agile delivery using SAFe Framework, Kanban, and Atlassian tools
- Strong technical knowledge of ETL processes and tools such as Databricks and Python, data extracts using SQL, and analytics tools such as PowerBI
- Strong financial analysis skills, including budget planning, business case preparation, invoices, accruals, and budget forecast management
- Proven skills in negotiation, influencing without authority and working diplomatically through conflict
- Experience coordinating operational and release activities, including change requests in ServiceNow and deployment planning with global platform teams
- Experience identifying business needs and opportunities by aligning project investments with business strategy
