Job Summary
The Early Head Start Toddler Teacher will manage and operate a toddler classroom, implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum to foster the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child. Responsibilities include classroom planning, engaging in meetings for professional development, maintaining credentials, and ensuring compliance with program policies. Candidates must have an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education with specific infant/toddler coursework or a valid CDA, as well as the ability to lift children and participate actively in classroom activities.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree (AA) in Early Childhood Education or related field with 4 (four) infant/toddler courses
- Valid Child Development Associate (CDA)
- EEC infant/toddler Teacher certified
- Must pass a criminal background check
- CPR and First Aid certification
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Knowledge of Teaching Strategies Gold
- Bilingual skills
