Job Summary
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for preschool children in a Head Start setting, coordinate and document weekly lesson plans aligned with Head Start standards and NJ/PA licensing requirements, provide infant-toddler caregiving in a primary setting, observe and document each child’s growth, plan individualized activities, maintain child records, support children with special needs, ensure center safety and health reporting, conduct home visits and monthly parent conferences, engage parents through classroom activities and planning sessions, participate in trainings, and assist with administrative tasks as delegated by leadership. Requires Infant-Toddler CDA or equivalent (enrollment in CDA program acceptable); AA/BA a plus; must meet licensing standards and have daily access to a car.
Required Qualifications
- Must have an Infant-Toddler CDA OR equivalent and enroll in Infant-Toddler CDA program
- AA and BA a plus
- Must meet or exceed NJ and PA licensing standards
- Must have car available on a daily basis
