Job Summary
Conduct classroom activities and manage services to meet Head Start Performance Standards while maintaining confidentiality regarding staff, children, and families. Supervise children at all times, ensuring safety, appropriate ratios, and developmentally appropriate interactions through affectionate communication and positive discipline. Implement daily lesson plans, develop learning centers, and record observations in Teaching Strategies GOLD, including health checks, anecdotal notes, and attendance. Assist with feeding infants, arrange activity spaces, and complete paperwork for accidents, medication, and allergies. Recruit volunteers, solicit contributions, and attend required meetings and trainings. Serve as an advocate for the program, families, and children while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment.
Required Qualifications
- TCC and/or CDA", "Associate's Degree in ECE or TCC/CDA", "Bachelor's Degree in ECE or TCC/CDA", "Master's Degree in ECE or TCC/CDA", "One to three years experience
