EHS Teacher Aide - Full Time

Job Summary
Conduct daily health checks, maintain clean and safe classroom environments, and implement individualized activity plans to support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. Assist in planning field trips, developing developmentally appropriate activities, and facilitating positive relationships within the classroom community. Communicate effectively with parents to promote involvement in their child's early learning experiences while maintaining accurate records for all enrolled students. Perform these duties in Head Start and Early Head Start classrooms to ensure Program Performance Standards are met.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma/GED
- Willingness to obtain a CDA
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents
- Knowledge of organizational skills
- Positive attitude
- Relationship building skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 40lbs
Desired Qualifications
- A working knowledge and understanding of early childhood development and education
