Job Summary
2nd shift EHS Leader responsible for driving a zero-incident culture across two assembly locations, managing EHS staff (including an Environmental, Health & Safety Technician), implementing Behavioral Based Safety, and leading data-driven safety programs. Develop and implement safety policies, training, and procedures; perform audits of offices, warehouses, and production areas; coordinate with contractors; conduct root-cause analyses of incidents; manage regulatory reporting and environmental metrics; oversee workers' compensation processes and return-to-work programs; drive sustainability initiatives and waste/resource management; mentor staff on hazard identification and risk management; lead safety improvements to support production needs while maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental, Health and Safety or related field
- 5+ years of experience in environmental, health and safety management in an industrial/service environment
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Ability to analyze safety data and drive continuous improvement
- Experience with audits, regulatory compliance, and incident investigations
- Lean Manufacturing experience preferred
- Proven ability to develop and implement safety programs, policies, and procedures
