Job Summary
EHS Supervisor at Harris Ranch Beef Company leads the plant’s environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure a safe, accident-free work environment. Responsible for supervising Safety Technicians and all aspects of EHS compliance, including OSHA, environmental record keeping, safety audits, and accident investigations. Develop and implement safety and environmental programs, coordinate CalOSHA training and certifications, analyze accident data to identify trends, and collaborate with departments to improve safety practices. Requires strong leadership, knowledge of environmental compliance, ability to read blueprints, and capability to work nights and weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Business Management, Organizational Development, related discipline or equivalent experience in a meat processing facility
- Experience developing safety programs, including working through high-performance teams to implement initiatives successfully
- Demonstrated experience with Environmental Compliance
- Bilingual is preferred
- CSP is desired but not required
