EHS Sr Specialist

Job Summary
Design, develop, and oversee the organization's EHS programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities while ensuring facility compliance with regulations. Administer A3 review processing, including scheduling, communicating, and distributing lessons learned. Initiate audit processes, follow up on corrective actions, and conduct cultural assessments. Manage greenhouse gas data requests with GDOTS sites and collaborate with site Quality teams on verification requests. Serve as the Safety Committee lead, enhance EHS training, and administer safety protocols as a member of the BCP/DR team. Track accidents, monitor environmental hazards, coordinate facility inspections, and communicate emergency response plans. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety or equivalent experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS software, and up to 25% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time
- Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities
- Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential
- Up to 25% travel likely
