Job Summary
EHS Specialist sought to support Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) activities within Pace’s laboratory R&D operations. Responsibilities include conducting monthly safety surveys, documenting incidents and investigations, verifying and updating waste stream profiles and waste inventories, ensuring correct waste labeling and handling procedures, supporting hazardous waste disposal during lab cleanouts, performing hazard reviews, participating in safety meetings, and assisting with lab commissioning, EHS readiness, and lab moves. The role requires evaluating risks, identifying improvement opportunities, and communicating updates and corrective actions to management. Educational background in Environmental Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Chemistry, Biology, or related field is required; OSHA 30 and/or Hazwoper 40 experience is preferred.
