Job Summary
EHS Specialist responsible for driving Environmental, Health, and Safety program objectives across manufacturing operations. Serve as the primary point of contact for safety, health, and environmental inquiries, monitor regulatory requirements and risk initiatives, and provide leadership solutions to operations. Manage environmental processes to meet regulatory and sustainability goals (waste, water, energy), engage plant personnel in EHS improvements, oversee EHS documentation, vendor contracts, and permit administration, and coordinate incident reporting, investigations, and root cause analysis. Facilitate EHS training to ensure compliance with regulatory and company obligations. Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills required. Prior experience in manufacturing and knowledge of safety and environmental regulations essential. ASP preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Academic background in Engineering, Science, Safety or Environmental
- 3+ years of progressive experience leading safety and/or environmental management systems
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and applying them in manufacturing
- Associate Safety Professional (ASP) preferred
