Job Summary
Design, develop, and oversee the organization's environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure facility compliance with regulations. Outlines and implements policies to educate staff on health and safety risks, while delivering training programs and maintaining accurate records of incidents, manuals, and inspection documentation. Monitor hazards such as noise, air, or wastewater pollution levels and coordinate facility inspections to recommend corrective actions. Communicate emergency response plans to management and administration, tracking accidents to analyze causes and prevent future occurrences. Requires an Associate's degree with 2-4 years of experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and up to 25% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree and 2-4 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time
- Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities
- Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential
- Up to 25% travel likely
