EHS Specialist I

Job Summary
Conduct daily safety inspections to identify hazards, reduce risk, and enforce compliance in active construction environments. Participate in Job Hazard Analyses, Pre-Task Plans, and toolbox talks while accurately documenting field safety evolutions into the EHS data management system. Immediately address and correct EHS deficiencies, verify safe work practices, and exercise stop-work authority when unsafe conditions are observed. Support incident investigations, coordinate safety alignment meetings, and assist with verifying General Contractor and client EHS requirements. Actively promote a zero-incident culture by recognizing safe behaviors and engaging in ongoing training and development.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physically capable of working in active construction environments

- 0–2 years of related experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse occupational populations
