EHS Specialist

Job Summary
Conduct field inspections and document results using the DWT Real-time Operations Assessment Report (ROAR) system to identify and mitigate unsafe conditions. Support corrective actions from inspection or incident findings while leading and participating in incident investigations to identify root causes. Implement and uphold DWT EHS policies, execute project-specific site safety plans, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Manage cases involving injured workers, support EHS compliance training, and monitor lessons learned to drive the EHS 5 Star Key Performance Indicator.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position in business
- Proven experience in EHS roles, including field inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigation
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and safety standards
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to lead training sessions and drive EHS initiatives
- Competency in maintaining and analyzing safety performance metrics
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent years of work experience preferred
