EHS Specialist

Job Summary
Manage health surveillance and workers' uniforms and PPE. Assist in developing, implementing, and improving EHS management systems covering hazard communication, lockout/tagout, confined spaces, and emergency preparedness. Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and non-compliance issues. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions. Prepare and submit EHS reports to stakeholders and regulatory agencies while monitoring performance metrics. Ensure compliance with Italian and EU EHS legislation, including D.Lgs. 81/08, with fluency in Italian and English required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience (1 year) in an EHS role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the packaging industry
- Strong knowledge of Italian EHS legislation (D.Lgs. 81/08, D.Lgs. 152/06) and EU directives
- Fluency in Italian and English (both written and spoken) is essential
