Job Summary
EHS Specialist based at Port Melbourne, full-time onsite role with Boeing Aerostructures Australia. Responsibilities include interpreting and implementing statutory environmental, health and safety obligations; supporting EHS processes and regulatory compliance; conducting inspections/audits and investigating incidents with corrective actions; developing risk assessments and documenting hazards and controls; disseminating safety materials and contributing to continuous EHS improvement; collaborating with the team on a broad range of EHS activities. Required skills include experience as an EHS professional in an operational environment, knowledge of Victorian EHS legislation, and familiarity with ISO14001/ISO45001 standards; strong communication, problem-solving, and a proactive, team-focused approach. Applicants must have full-time unrestricted working rights in Australia and be flexible to work a rotating afternoon shift. Preferred qualifications include a tertiary qualification in EHS or related field.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as an EHS professional in an operational environment
- Understanding Victorian Environmental and Health & Safety legislation and regulations
- Basic knowledge of ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards and certification process
- Full-time unrestricted working rights in Australia
