Job Summary
Develop and maintain environmental, health, and safety policies aligned with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations. Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions. Lead root cause analysis for workplace accidents and provide training programs to promote safe work practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into manufacturing processes and support emergency response planning. Monitor performance metrics and prepare documentation for regulatory agencies while fostering a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety roles within a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and other applicable federal and state EHS laws
- Proven experience conducting workplace inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Excellent communication skills to effectively deliver training and collaborate with diverse teams
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Training and Learning Management Systems (LMS), or similar professional certification
- Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems implementation and auditing
- Familiarity with hazardous waste management and chemical safety protocols
- Proficiency in EHS software tools and data management systems
- Advanced knowledge of ergonomics and process safety management in manufacturing environments
