EHS/QA Officer

EHS/QA Officer role based in Melbourne, Australia, supporting Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance activities at the site. Responsibilities include supporting site EHS programs and continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with WHS and environmental requirements through risk assessments, incident investigations, reporting and corrective actions, and maintaining the site Quality Management System in line with ISO 13485 and regulatory requirements. The role also involves supporting batch release, nonconformance investigations, CAPA, audits, and document control, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of quality, safety and compliance. On-site, with travel less than 10%, reporting to the Manager, Quality Assurance. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, formal WHS qualification (Certificate IV or higher), strong WHS and environmental legislation knowledge, and experience in regulated QA environments (preferably medical device or in vitro diagnostics). Desirable experience includes supporting both EHS and QA in a regulated manufacturing environment and familiarity with ISO 13485, risk management, audits, CAPA, nonconformance, and document control.
