EHS Professional (Turbomachinery)

Job Summary
Supervise and manage EHS programs and systems for the EMA region, deploying corporate Elliott EHS policy and supporting the creation of the strategic plan. Develop and lead implementation of EHS systems compliant with ISO requirements while managing interfaces with external regulatory agencies and legal counsel. Manage third-party certification, customer audits, and qualifications, and oversee incident investigations to identify root causes and prevent recurrence. Evaluate EHS data to drive improvements and review audit results and emergency response exercises. Manage EHS compliance and process conformance to reduce liabilities and financial costs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental and/or Health and Safety Science or related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of applicable experience in an industrial or petrochemical environment
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and written skills
- Experience of working in Turbomachinery Repair and Maintenance business with focus on Service Center and Repair Workshop operations
- Working knowledge of EHS regulatory framework (particularly for EMA region) and EHS management systems
- Fluent in English
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, databases, and internet based systems)
- NEBOSH IGC qualification
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with EHS management systems (ISO 45001 and/or OHSAS 18001)
- ASP, CSP, or CHMM or equivalent certification
- Experience working in a benzene/hydrocarbon exposure environment, confined space, working at height & lifting activities arrangements
- First Aid Certificate
