Job Summary
Implement and manage environmental, health and safety management systems for new plant openings, ensuring compliance with NOMs, environmental laws and corporate standards from planning through startup. Develop and execute programs aligned with legislation (JCMS, ISO 14001, 45001, FM Global and others), train and oversee Management of Change processes, identify environmental/safety impacts and create action plans to prevent recurrence, develop emergency response plans for new plants, collaborate with contractors and internal teams to ensure EHS policy compliance during construction, installation and start-up, document and report EHS indicators, and drive continuous improvement strategies across projects.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in EHS engineering or similar
- 3 years of experience as EHS Engineer or similar position
- Knowledge of risk management, Mexican laws and regulations (Environmental & Occupational Health and Safety)
- Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Experience with Management of Change
- Experience with incident investigation methods
- MS Office proficiency
- English >80%
