Job Summary
Conduct internal audits for ISO 14001/45001 compliance, manage work permits, and liaise with government bodies regarding Factories rules and PCB requirements. Maintain systems for reporting injuries, accidents, and environmental incidents while monitoring ambient air, noise, water, and soil parameters against statutory limits. Coordinate mock drills, emergency planning, and fire preventive measures, ensuring third-party health checks for extinguishers and hydrant systems. Perform periodic safety and machine audits, patrol for unsafe conditions, and track energy, water, and waste consumption reductions. Assist shop teams in process improvements and ensure employee health checks adhere to factory rules.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge on ISO 14001/45001 standard
- Knowledge on Aspect impact and HIRA identification
- Knowledge on liaison with government bodies in the state for applicable requirements
- Knowledge on legal requirements such as Factories rules, PCB requirements, PESO, Fire NoC etc as per the state requirements
- Knowledge on IS on safety, machine audits, safety audits, patrolling for highlighting unsafe acts and conditions in the plant
- Knowledge on Work permit system and related requirements for plant activities
- Knowledge on ensuring treatment parameters in STP/ETP, hazardous waste disposal as per requirement
- Knowledge on energy, water, waste, fuel consumption reduction
- Dipoma/BE with 8 - 10 years of experience in any manufacturing industries, preferably in mechanical / automobile industry
