EHS Officer

Job Summary
Implement and continuously improve EHS procedures, work practices, and programs while ensuring compliance with Kerry policies, local legislation, and ISO 14001/45001 standards. Walk the manufacturing floor daily to identify hazards, conduct facility inspections, and support risk assessments and root cause analysis for incidents. Coordinate EHS meetings, facilitate internal and external audits, and lead corrective action closures. Train staff and contractors on safety systems, promote the BOS and SAM initiatives, and manage emergency preparedness drills. Update EHS documentation, compile monthly reports, and coach EHS representatives to drive a strong safety culture.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Science or Equivalent
- At least 2 years' experience working in EHS, preferably in a Food Manufacturing plant
- Completed ISPON Level 3
- Working knowledge of the requirements of the OHS Act
- Working knowledge of the National Environmental Management Act
- Experience in ISO 14001 Systems and ISO 45001 implementation and internal audit
- Experience in performing risk assessments and Root Cause Analysis
Desired Qualifications
- Completed NEBOSH IGC (Advantageous)
