Job Summary
Conduct daily site safety inspections to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement control measures per HIRAC. Supervise personnel compliance with OSHA, Factories and Machinery Act, and company safety policies through verbal advice or written notices. Manage safety audits by ensuring updated documentation, addressing auditor queries, and enforcing permit-to-work requirements for contractors and vendors. Maintain Emergency Response Plans, first aid facilities, and welfare information while liaising with DOSH, Police, and other government agencies. Compile and submit monthly safety reports, statistics, and regulatory documents (NADOOPOD, JKKP 8) to relevant internal and external parties. Review the Safety Management System to introduce improvements reflecting site changes and progress.
