Job Summary

Conduct onsite Occupational Health Services for a 400-500 employee manufacturing workforce, including medical surveillance, health assessments, and annual examinations. Manage work-related injuries, illnesses, and return-to-work programs while performing case management for occupational and non-occupational conditions. Administer drug and alcohol testing, hearing conservation, spirometry, and vision screenings; provide immunizations, phlebotomy, and preventive health services. Ensure compliance with OSHA, ADA, FMLA, and DOT regulations; maintain electronic medical records and support site emergency response activities. Partner with HR, Safety, Operations, and leadership on employee health initiatives and wellness programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or Compact State
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Occupational Health, Employee Health, Industrial Nursing, or related clinical experience
  • Experience managing case loads, employee health programs, and return-to-work processes
  • Experience supporting employee populations within manufacturing, industrial, chemical, production, or similar environments
  • Knowledge of Workers' Compensation, OSHA, ADA, and FMLA
  • Experience with electronic medical record systems
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively with employees, management, HR, Safety, and external healthcare providers
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Experience as an Occupational Health Nurse
  • Experience supporting a workforce of 300+ employees
  • Manufacturing, chemical plant, refinery, industrial, or production facility experience
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations
  • Urine Drug Screen Collection Certification
  • Breath Alcohol Testing Certification
  • Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist
  • NIOSH Spirometry Certification
  • ACLS Certification
  • Experience with Emergency Response Programs
  • Experience managing Workers' Compensation Claims
  • Experience with Medical Surveillance Programs
