Job Summary
Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct regular EHS inspections and audits to identify hazards and assess risks. Lead incident investigations, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Manage EHS training programs for all employees, oversee hazardous waste management, and maintain recordkeeping and reporting systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into operational processes and new projects. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of manufacturing EHS experience. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related scientific field
- 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant environmental and safety regulations
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage EHS programs and management systems
- Experience with hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) designation
- Experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 implementation and maintenance
- Proficiency in EHS management software (e.g., Intelex, Cority, Enablon)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- OSHA Outreach Trainer certification for General Industry
