Job Summary
EHS Manager to develop, organize, administer, and maintain the Company’s Environmental Health & Safety Program. Responsibilities include acting as the authority in EH&S, coaching leadership on safe behaviors, developing and delivering training, performing Job Hazard Analyses, leading Lean Safety Gemba, managing incident investigations, ensuring regulatory reporting, leading safety meetings, integrating corporate EH&S programs into daily operations, overseeing Management of Change processes, issuing weekly Safety Starters, maintaining ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 programs, coordinating EHS software systems, supporting workers' compensation and return-to-work activities, and driving safety improvements on the shop floor and in offices.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental health science, or similar degree
- 3-5 years professional experience in occupational safety, environmental, or similar role(s); or
- 5-10 years professional experience in occupational safety, environmental, or similar role(s)
- Automotive or similar manufacturing backgrounds preferred
- OSHA 30 General Industry, environmental and occupational safety certifications preferred, but not required
