Oversee Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs for the manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with OSHA, environmental, and local regulations; drive continuous improvement of safety, health, and environmental performance; coordinate safety training and related activities; foster a culture of safety and environmental excellence; support audits and regulatory inspections; manage cross-functional collaboration to maintain safe operations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs in a manufacturing/industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience coordinating safety training and related activities
- Familiarity with Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) concepts and implementation
- Ability to develop and maintain an effective safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
- Ability to perform risk assessments and incident investigations
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and program requirements
- Experience with safety audits and regulatory inspections
- Criminal history review process awareness as part of safeguarding operations
