EHS Manager

Job Summary
Conduct facility safety inspections and audits to identify hazards, then implement corrective actions and risk assessments to maintain a zero-injury culture. Coordinate safety training programs, facilitate the Division Safety Committee, and lead incident investigations to analyze root causes and drive strategic program decisions. Manage compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA recordkeeping, DOT requirements, and environmental permits like HazMat and SPCC. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly safety metrics for leadership while collaborating with Operations and Facilities teams to integrate safety into engineering and new technology applications.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA in Safety, Health, or related science
- 3-5 years' relevant experience in the EHS field
- CSP, ASP, CIH, CHMM, OHST, CHST, CSHM, or other recognized EHS credentials
- Working knowledge of OSHA /EPA regulations
- Background in both incident investigation and EHS training
- Working knowledge of Emergency Response and Risk Mitigation
- Ability to interpret and be the main point of contact for OSHA and other federal regulation related responsibilities
- Working knowledge of warehouse equipment operation
- Power Industrial Equipment (PIT) Train-the-Trainer certification
- Mathematical skills ability to provide leading and lagging indicator metric reports or ROI on safety program investments
- Effective and proficient communication and presentation skills
- Ability to lead and/or facilitate team meetings
- Ability to speak effectively before large groups of employees or customers
- Ability to understand, promote and support Company safety vision

- Ability to complete First Aid, CPR & AED training within 1 year of hire date
- Ability to maintain high proficiency while working in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Ability to lift and move intermittently up to 20lbs
