EHS Manager - Safety

Job Summary
Conduct regulatory compliance audits and develop safety training programs to achieve world-class safety culture. Establish metrics to track safety performance, interpret KPIs for management, and coach individuals to improve safety behaviors. Manage occupational health programs, workers compensation, and incident investigations while ensuring air and water permitting adherence. Lead capital project implementation, liaise with equipment suppliers to correct OSB process deficiencies, and interface with IT to refine data acquisition systems. Provide operational training and supervise maintenance shuts as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a safety or environmental sciences discipline
- 3-5 years manufacturing experience
- 10 years of manufacturing management experience
- Managerial/Supervisory experience
- Thorough knowledge of Safety and / or Environmental concepts and application
- Influential Leadership — ability to mentor, coach and support leaders to support the safety culture

Desired Qualifications
- Equivalent combination of training and experience (to Bachelor's Degree in safety/environmental sciences with 3-5 years manufacturing experience or 10 years manufacturing management experience)
- Managerial/Supervisory experience preferably in Safety or Environmental management
