EHS Manager

Job Summary
Lead, maintain, and continuously improve the site EHS Management System, procedures, and KPIs while ensuring compliance with local legislation, permits, and regulatory reporting. Drive safety culture through training, coaching, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions by engaging directly with employees and managers to strengthen practical ways of working. Partner with site leadership, corporate EHS teams, and regulatory authorities to integrate EHS into daily operations and support audits and follow-up actions. This permanent senior role begins in September–October 2026, reporting to the Site Director with a matrix line to the Global EHS Director.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, Chemical Engineering or a related field
- Several years of hands-on EHS experience
- Strong understanding of local EHS legislation, environmental permits, risk management and regulatory reporting
- A practical mindset, with the ability to translate formal EHS requirements into clear, workable actions for the site
- Energetic, approachable and friendly personality, with strong communication skills and the ability to build trust at all levels
- Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English

- Experienced driving improvements through Lean, Operational Excellence or similar methods
