Job Summary
Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations at the Klingenberg site by collaborating with local leadership to implement the EHS strategy and manage the annual budget. Lead the local EHS team and process safety managers in identifying risk areas, investigating incidents, and developing corrective actions. Define resource requirements, coordinate with the EHS Country Manager on strategic feedback, and drive continuous improvement in safety culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in environmental management, occupational safety, chemistry, engineering, or a comparable field
- Certified Occupational Safety and Health Professional (SiFa) qualification according to German legal requirements
- Multiple years of experience in Environment, Health & Safety, preferably in an industrial production environment
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in a comparable EHS function
- Fundamental knowledge of occupational, health, and environmental protection
- Knowledge of hazardous substances and dangerous goods handling
- Knowledge of preventive fire protection
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Quick aptitude for understanding complex situations
- Self-reliant, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- High team spirit and ability to successfully engage diverse stakeholders
- Very good German language skills
- Good English language skills in writing and speaking
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in cooperation with authorities and handling of legal regulations and audits
