Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive EHS audits, field inspections, and incident investigations on large construction project sites to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance. Lead project EHS kickoffs, trade partner preconstruction meetings, and intervention sessions to address noncompliance while reinforcing safety culture. Manage root cause analyses, approve job hazard analyses, and oversee monthly safety assessments and trend analysis across assigned projects. Supervise EHS staff, mentor personnel, and develop specialized training courses tailored to DAVIS operations. Represent DAVIS in external OSHA inspections, insurance audits, and industry panels while leading internal business plan initiatives and environmental compliance efforts.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health + Safety Sciences or related field
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in occupational Environmental Health + Safety in construction
  • Safety Trained Supervisor Certification, or equivalent
  • Construction Health and Safety Technician Certification, or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas to employees, trade partners and clients
