Job Summary
Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements. Establish performance metrics, lead team development, and deliver training on hazard recognition and compliance. Monitor local, state, and federal regulations, manage audits and inspections, and oversee incident reporting and root cause analyses. Conduct workplace audits to identify hazards, develop risk assessments, and maintain necessary permits. Act as a subject matter expert to senior leadership, build relationships with regulatory agencies, and foster a proactive safety culture. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of EHS experience, with no visa sponsorship available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in environmental, health, and safety, industrial hygiene, engineering, or a related field or equivalent mix of experience and education and professional experience
- 5+ years of experience in an EHS role
- Must be able to work for any employer in the United States
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this role now or in the future
Desired Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience
- CSP certification or willing to obtain
- ISO14001 and ISO 45001 experience
